Resignation of 2E0KYI
Following recent problems, Keith Armstrong 2E0KYI has tendered his resignation
as chairman of the society. The Society is very grateful to Keith for his
service and expresses its disappointment at his leaving,
however understandable. We are also equally grateful to Ken Quinn 2E0SSQ for
"standing in" in Keith's place. Ken's position as chairman was confirmed at the
recent Extraordinary General Meeting.
Unfortunate Expulsion of Member
More regrettable is the expulsion of a certain member of the Society following
complaints from several members. After a lively discussion, the committee voted
to expel the individual concerned. This was a majority decision. This matter
is now closed, and further discussion is discouraged!
